January 18, 2021: Volunteering during the pandemic has been tricky, but Houston’s nonprofits have been working hard throughout the past year. Food still needs to be packed and delivered, and shelter pets still need to be walked. We can take care of our parks and organize medical supplies while wearing masks and social distancing.
As far as we know, the following organizations are open for teen volunteers now. Check the ServeforGood.org listings for more information about each charity, and please contact the organization to confirm they are accepting help and to make arrangements to volunteer. We will update our listings as we get more information. Please let us know if you have corrections or updates to this list. Thank you!
