    Hello,
My daughter is 12 y/o. Would she be able to volunteer if i am present with her? She is a hard worker, and eager to help. She needs 10 documented hours, but i would love to get her more involved beyond that if willing. Web page states must be 15 years old, but also says 12 with supervision. please let me know if we can fill out application and move forward.

    Thank you for your time,
    Sarah Glaze

Dear Mrs. Glaze, Your daughter would be able to volunteer with you, but I’m not sure if she can work directly with the animals because she is under 15. If you email the shelter at vap_shelter@yahoo.com they will tell you. You could also try Pup Squad and TWRC (the Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Center). Both allow 12 year olds to work with animals. Corridor Rescue is another idea. Thank you for helping homeless animals!
