What Is It?
The largest children’s festival in the U.S., which raises money for Child Advocates and the abused and neglected children it serves. Usually held in spring.

Collect tickets, greet guests, provide information, sell beverages, check in volunteers, and more.

Minimum Age to Volunteer
16. Youth aged 13-15 may volunteer with a parent or guardian.
Time Commitment
Shifts range from 3 to 4 1/2 hours. Volunteers may sign up for one shift or more. Shifts are 10 AM – 1:30 PM, 1-4 PM, and 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER
Possible duties include:
Greet festival guests at entrance gates. Collect admission tickets. Pass out Event Guides. Put Child Advocates stickers on guests.
Provide festival guests with children with a sticker to tag their children so they can quickly be reunited with their parents/guardian if lost.
Sell beverages to festival guests by receiving coupons. Take inventory and restock at the end of the day.
Take coupons and help kids on and off rides/games. Some lifting involved.
Help the security team locate lost children. Walk around the festival with information sheets to assist guests with directions and information.
Keep food and beverages available for Sponsor hospitality area. Keep the area clean for sponsors, including trash handling. Restock drinks and ice.
Assist with volunteer check-in, pass out volunteer T-shirts, help volunteers with volunteer snack areas and restocking.
