ASSEMBLE WELCOME BASKETS
In the Muslim tradition, Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a holy month of fasting and prayer. Eid is a celebratory day when Muslims focus on community, family, and generosity. Since many of the refugee families IM serves are from Muslim countries, IM celebrates by providing care packages filled with basic housewares and shelf staples, and hosting an interfaith dinner. Volunteers are needed to help assemble the gift baskets.

MAKE GREETING CARDS
During the Eid welcome basket assembly, children – or anyone else who wants to participate – can make welcome cards to include with the baskets.
