GROUP PROJECTS (LOT CLEARING, HOUSE PAINTING)
In lot clearing projects, groups of 10-15 volunteers clear overgrown lots in the neighborhood, such as senior citizens’ lots or spaces next to schools/parks. These projects take roughly 4 hours. House painting projects require a larger group, ideally 20-30 members. These projects take about 6 hours.
Other projects include cleaning and landscaping.

STEP IT UP AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Volunteers address each youth’s educational deficits, ensure that each child has fun, and ensure that each child participates in the arts.
Monday – Thursday 4:30–6:30 PM on a rotating basis.

INDIVIDUAL MENTORING
Volunteers are asked to make a 2 year commitment to spending a minimum of 6 hours a month, meeting at least 2 times a month, with their mentee. We also ask that mentors check in weekly by phone when possible. You can request the age range you are most comfortable with. The biggest need is in the range of 4 years old-13 years old.
