What Is It?
A Saturday morning camp for children ages 6-14 with disabilities and their siblings ages 6-10. It’s a time for kids to have fun while parents take a break.
Help Needed:
Spend time one-on-one with a child, doing arts and crafts, playing games, or just having fun. Please contact Easter Seals for COVID-related updates.

Time Commitment
8:15 AM to 12:30 PM. (Campers attend from 9 AM to Noon.)
Suitable for Groups of Volunteers?
Yes. “The more volunteers we have, the more kids we can invite. So come join us!”

FAMILY DAY OUT VOLUNTEER
At FDO, the children benefit from arts and crafts, games, and playground activities and receive one-on-one assistance from volunteers. Siblings ages 6-10 can also attend, allowing parents a morning of rest. FDO is staffed by a Director, a Nurse, and 2-3 other professional staff. There are typically about eight FDOs a year.

Family Day Out takes place at The Caroline School, at the Easter Seals main office, in Suite 100.
Note: Family Day Out Montgomery County has been paused due to COVID-19. It normally takes place at WoodsEdge Community Church, 25333 Gosling Rd, Spring, TX 77389.
