HOST AN ELECTRONICS RECYCLING DRIVE

Collect electronic waste for recycling by Compucycle. Proceeds from electronics drives help provide job training and employment opportunities for Easter Seals clients. Items accepted for recycling include personal computers & monitors; keyboards, mice, & speakers; cords & cables; laptops; printers & copiers; small kitchen appliances; game consoles; cell phones; toner cartridges; CDs & VHS tapes; cameras; and TVs. The complete list is here.

Compucycle cannot accept donations during the COVID pandemic. Please contact Kelly Klein (see below) for updates.

GENTLY USED TABLET DRIVE

As part of its smart technology program, Easter Seals loans gently used tablets to children and adults with disabilities who cannot afford them. Clients with language, motor, or other developmental delays can use the tablets to access communication, learning, and medical apps. The program accepts gently pre-owned iPads or iPad Minis (5th generation or newer) and Kindles or Kindle Fires (2018 or newer).

Tablet drives are also on hold during the COVID pandemic. For more information, please contact Cristen Reat at CReat@EasterSealsHouston.org.
