What Is It?
A week-long overnight camp for children ages 6-14 with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders, at the barrier-free Camp for All. Each day campers participate in typical outdoor camp activities like rock climbing, fishing, paint ball, karaoke, swimming, and many more; all activities been adapted to fit the needs of each camper.
Help Needed:
Each teen counselor spends a week at camp with a camper buddy. Please contact Easter Seals for COVID-related updates.

Time Commitment
One week in early July.
Training Needed
Mandatory orientation takes place before campers arrive. Volunteers should be comfortable assisting campers with cerebral palsy with their daily living activities (eating, toileting, etc.).
Help Needed

CAMP COUNSELOR
Camp Smiles counselors act as “buddies”, one to each camper. Counselors attend all activities with their camper, help with all daily needs, and sleep in the same cabin as their camper. Adult cabin leaders, who are not assigned to individual campers, oversee all cabin activities.
