About

What Is It?

A nonprofit that “demonstrates God’s love through the provision of gently used clothing to those in need” in Houston, Katy, and surrounding areas.

Help Needed:

Help sort and bag clothing and shoes; assist with deliveries/pickups, repairs, or other “heavier” tasks; work at community events; or help in office.  Please contact Clothed by Faith for COVID-related updates. 

Details

Minimum Age to Volunteer

12, for community events, with an adult.  Warehouse and “muscle group” volunteers must be at least 14, and 14 & 15 year olds must volunteer with an adult. See details below.

Time Commitment

2 hours per visit.  Warehouse and office volunteer time slots are on Monday-Friday: 10 AM-Noon, Noon to 2 PM, and 2 PM-4 PM.

Some weekend opportunities are also available.

Training Needed

CBF will provide instructions.  Videos describing the sorting, folding, and bagging processes are here.

Help Needed

WAREHOUSE OR OFFICE

Help organize, fold, and bag donations or help with other projects around the warehouse; assist in office.

 

MUSCLE GROUP

Do errands, deliveries, pick ups, and heavier work and general chores around the warehouse (fix things, hang things, etc.). These volunteers may be needed during the week or on weekends.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS

These events – including fundraisers such as the Katy Color Run and tabling at events – are typically on weekends.

COLLECT CLOTHING TO DONATE

CBF welcomes donations of new socks and underwear, and new (or very GENTLY used) clean clothing and shoes.  New (or very gently used) purses, belts, hair accessories, and jewelry are also accepted.  Contact CBF to find out more about their current needs.  Donation guidelines are here.

HELP FROM HOME

Sometimes CBF has opportunities for volunteers to work at home. Projects could include doing laundry, sorting clothing, or putting together packages. Please contact CBF for more details.
