Help Needed

HELP HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Help set up, host, and clean up monthly birthday parties for children in crisis who are living in homeless shelters and group homes. Many have never had a birthday party or even a birthday cake. Each child with a birthday in that month receives a gift, and the other children in the shelter are included as party guests. Between 120-150 children attend TBJP birthday parties each month.

COLLECT TOYS OR PARTY SUPPLIES

Hold a toy drive at your school or community group for birthday gifts, or collect other party supplies. Note: TBJP only accepts new, unopened toys.

MAKE GOODY BAGS

Assemble enough goody bags for one party, or more.  Bags usually contain 4-5 pieces of candy as well as 2-3 items such as silicone bracelets, bubbles, tattoos, noise makers, slinkies, slime, mini playdoh cups, and/or other toys. Parties are usually large; please contact TBJP for quantities.

MAKE DECORATIONS

Make colorful paper flowers, birthday banners, or other decorations to brighten the party spaces.
