What Is It?: A nonprofit “dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for friendships, employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
Help Needed: Assist with the Friendship Walk & 5K fundraiser in April, or help with event planning in the office. Contact organization for changes due to COVID-19.
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 14 to help at the Friendship Walk, and 16 to help in the office.

HELP WITH ANNUAL FRIENDSHIP WALK & 5K
Help with the Best Buddies Friendship Walk & 5K, which takes place each spring in April or May. Possible day-of-event activities include helping with set-up, route marking, registration, guest assistance, and games. Set-up begins at 6:30 AM and all activities and clean-up should be concluded by 3 PM.
OFFICE SUPPORT
Volunteers aged 16 and up may be needed to help with tasks such as data entry, contacting donors, and other administrative work. Students should be organized, with a positive attitude; fundraising experience is welcomed.
