INNOVATION SPARK – HOUSTON MAKER FAIRE

What Is It?: Innovation Spark is a nonprofit that works to advance STEM education throughout the Houston area. The 2-day Maker Faire will feature over 80 different exhibitors, with key areas including 3D printing, Legos, Robotics, Education, Virtual Reality, and Makerspaces.

 

Help Needed: Assist in various areas throughout the event, including the Robotic and Creativity Spaces and the Information and Volunteer Booths.

 

Minimum Age to Volunteer: 14

HELP WITH MAKER FAIRE
Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs in various areas, including the Maker, Robotic, Startup, Education, Speaker, Special Guest,
Maker Space, School, Creativity, Library, Art Car, and Power Tool Drag Racing Areas.  Volunteers also may help with move in/out, ticket sales, and the Information and Volunteer Booths, and as runners.  The event takes place at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
