DECEMBER BICYCLE BUILD

CYCLE’s largest event of the year takes place in December, when it invites members of the public to build bicycles at the NRG Center in southeast Houston.  In 2016 more than 4,000 volunteers helped build more than 9,000 bicycles.  The Build project takes place over five days, with morning, afternoon, and early evening shifts.

CYCLE requests that volunteers make a minimum $40 donation to CYCLE to help raise funds to purchase the bicycles the students earn through hard work.
